"Learning is like rowing against the current. If you stop, you drift back."
- Laozi -
It is my mission to serve you in person. However, I am a co-founder of Wave25 which is an association of international colleagues with the same aspiration and mindset. If needed, I can rely on that international network which can act as co-coach or just sparring partner for me which is of particular importance in our business.
My mission is to help you to learn and grow, to achieve your goals. I combine passion and interest for human beings with extensive corporate experience, in particular the interplay between boards of directors and executive board members.
I was on different boards, as ordinary member of regulated companies or start-ups, as member of the audit and risk committee, as chairman and earlier as board secretary for a publicly listed company.
For more than 10 years, I was on the executive board of Baloise Group. The corporate world treated me good but now my focus is more on the learning side of human beings.
Already my academic adviser at the University at Berkeley, California, twenty years ago, was a mediator. Educated as an attorney at law, my mediation education was my first step into my main practice today. Later, coaching courses in London (John Whitmore, coaching for performance) followed and then the Executive Master in Coaching and Consulting for Change at INSEAD.
I was born 1965; married to Ruth and father of Olivia and Gian. I love travelling, sports, reading, reflecting and debating together.
