Sieber Board Coach AG | Welcome

“Teaching smart people how to learn” is according to Harvard Professor Chris Argyris a challenge.

People who rarely experience failure, end up not knowing how to deal with it effectively. What makes it worse: once you have climbed to the top, you are likely to be surrounded by people who flatter you which does not increase your self-awareness and your learning.

We need self-awareness to be true to ourselves and we need to look out for honest feedback in order to grow.

Sometimes, we need to leave the arena and look at it from the balcony. I can offer you a balcony view and a safe space to reflect on questions like these:

  • How can I handle that situation?
  • Where am I going?
  • What are my fundamental values?
  • What are my strengths?
  • What are my blind spots?
  • How do I affect others?

Knowing ourselves is crucial but not easy. Who we are is how we lead. Knowing us makes room to sense others and adapt. Small changes in our behavior can hereby have a huge effect on others. Sometimes, our strengths – we are rightly proud of – can stand in our way.

My purpose is to listen to your needs and to support your learning. I am a value-based person and have learned to choose the most important for me: authenticity, courage and integrity. I trust people and I hope you trust me. I am here for you.

"The most difficult thing in life is to know yourself."
